Lodi beats Acalanes in freshman-sophomore baseball

The Lodi Flames freshman-sophomore baseball team earned a thrilling 7-6 win over Acalanes on Saturday, as Zach Kramer scored David Simon on a suicide squeeze in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Noah Hennecke went three innings on the mound, while Clint Lucas pitched the next four to get the win for Lodi (12-5). Simon hit two singles and Jake Toon had a double for the Flames. Kramer, Bobby Quenzel, Jacob Donald, Matt Brooksher and Chance Trammell all singled.
