Elliot Eagles pitcher Daniel Hancock tipped his cap to the guys behind him and rightly so. The Eagles were coming off a shutout loss to the Brookside Christian Knights in Stockton on Tuesday. The teams played again at Zupo Field in Lodi on Friday and the Eagles exacted revenge with an 8-4 varsity baseball win behind stellar defense.

Elliot’s defense did not commit an error and helped pitcher Daniel Hancock work out of jams after he spread out 10 hits. Brookside left runners in scoring position in five innings, to which Hancock voiced his appreciation.
