With the Lodi Flames one quarter away from a tournament title, the Folsom Bulldogs bit back. Lodi’s nine-point lead to start the fourth period was quickly erased as Folsom ended the game on a 27-4 run en route to a 70-56 win in the Bill Cartwright Classic in varsity boys basketball action in Elk Grove on Saturday.

The Flames (2-1) were down six after one quarter, but took control of the game by outscoring the Bulldogs (3-0) 36-21 over the second and third periods. Folsom, which had scored 85 and 100 points in its first two tourney victories, trailed 52-43 going into the fourth quarter.
