Preview: After a heartbreaking loss to Stagg last week, the Tigers will be hungry for a victory and the Eagles may be the perfect prey. The Eagles are allowing 47.5 points per game and have given up 50 or more points in four contests. This will provide Tokay a good tune-up for the regular-season finale against Edison, where a victory could earn the Tigers a favorable first-round matchup in the playoffs.
Noteworthy: Tokay quarterback Kelsi DePauli-Wiltse has thrown for 899 yards this season (14 TDs, 2 INTs) and run for 407 more. Alex Burgos leads a stable of running backs with 660 yards. Allen Ward has six TD catches. Eric Stipe leads the Tokay offense with 5 1/2 sacks. Austin Mitchell averages a team-leading nine tackles per game. ... McNair QB Seth Santos has thrown for 887 yards (8 TDs, 9 INTs). Four different McNair players have over 100 yards receiving.
Liberty Ranch at Cosumnes Oaks

Preview: The Hawks have dropped two straight, and another loss in their regular-season finale tonight would likely leave them out of the playoffs. The Liberty Ranch defense, which has given up 35 points in each of the last two games, will face a stiff challenge tonight against a Wolfpack offense that is averaging 50 points per game in league play
Noteworthy: After averaging 37 points per contest during a four-game winning streak, the Hawks have managed only 14 points total during their current two-game losing streak. The Hawks scored first last week, but El Dorado responded with 28 unanswered points. ... Cosumnes QB Alex Kropp has thrown for 13 TDs and only two INTs. Senior WR Alex has 663 yards receiving and nine TDs.
River City vs. Galt

Last week: River City had a bye (defeated Liberty Ranch 35-0 on Oct. 18; Galt lost to Union Mine 36-6.
Last meeting: River City defeated Galt 48-6 last year at River City.
Preview: For a rebuilding program like Galt, the SVC schedule offers few breaks, and this week is no exception as the Warriors look for their first league win since 2010. The Warriors, who have scored just 34 points during their current six-game losing streak, will need to put lots of points on the board to hang with the Raiders.
Noteworthy: River City•s balanced offensive attack will challenge the Galt defense. The Raiders are averaging 225 yards rushing and 100 passing per game. RB David Vincent (613 yards, nine TDs) and WR Malik Dumetz (328 yards, 5 TDs) have been the team•s big playmakers. ... Dylan Welcher leads Galt with five touchdowns this season (three rushing, two receiving). Safety Andrew Bulahan leads the Warrior defense with 6.4 tackles per game.
Elliot vs. Big Valley

Preview: These two teams seem pretty evenly matched and there•s a good chance the game won•t be decided until the fourth quarter. If the Eagles can continue to put points on the board (36 points per game the last two contests) and not turn the ball over, they have a good chance to come away with the win.
Noteworthy: The Eagles ended a two-game losing streak with last week•s impressive win over Millennium. Elliot jumped out to a 24-0 lead after one quarter and that proved to be enough ... The Lions had won three straight prior to last week•s loss to Brookside.
