Tokay boys outlast St. Mary's in OT water polo thriller

St. Mary’s girls win 8-2

The Tokay High varsity water polo squads split a doubleheader against visiting St. Mary's with the Tiger boys edging the Rams, 13-12, in an overtime thriller while the Lady Tigers lost to the Lady Rams, 8-2, in Tri-City Athletic League action on Thursday.

In the boys nightcap, the Tokay boys rallied from a 11-9 deficit with 2:35 left in the fourth period to tie the match at 11-all on a Danny Kemether goal with 37 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime.
