His 85-yard kickoff return sparked a second-half rally against Weston Ranch. His 60-yard catch-and-run helped turn the Lodi game into a rout. His school-record 26 tackles, while playing with an injured shoulder, keyed the team’s defense in a losing playoff effort. (Oh, and Gary Norwood can punt the ball a little, too.)

“I’m all over the place,” the Tokay High School grad laughed. “I’m a team player. I just want to get the job done.”
