Chris D’Alvise’s hat trick insured the Thunder a five-point visit to Boise. Stockton fell behind early and executed late in a 5-4 victory over the Idaho Steelheads on Saturday in front of 4,858 fans at Qwest Arena. Idaho earned a 4-3 shootout victory Friday after the Thunder had a 2-1 shootout win Wednesday.

Despite Chris Lawrence opening the scoring for Stockton (7-1-3), Idaho (5-4-4) looked on its way to another win with a 3-1 lead in the second period before D’Alvise got the Thunder back into it in a hurry.
