It was cold and rainy, but brothers Masen and Gaven Lee Michaels were determined to not go home from their hunting trip empty-handed. So Masen, 10, and Gaven, 7, stuck out the harsh weather and each shot and killed their first wild boars.
The successful kills came during a hunting trip with their grandpa, Wes Lee, and uncle, Chris Lind, at Clear Lake during their winter break. Both used a 12-gauge shotgun. Masen bagged a 190-pound boar, while Gaven shot a 175-pounder.
