The Lodi Flames varsity football team stopped the Tracy Bulldogs’ opening drive with an Anthony Jory interception and took just five plays to score for an early lead. But that would be the Flames’ only lead, as the Bulldogs scored the next 42 points to post a 42-6 win in front of their homecoming crowd during Friday’s league football showdown at Wayne Schneider Stadium.

Grant Ereth scored on a 5-yard pass from David Simon for the 6-0 Flames lead. Lodi managed only three more pass completions in the game.
