He had survived — and even thrived — during Tough Mudder NorCal. But how would Lodi firefighter Josh Farr handle an extreme Tough Mudder?

In December, Farr trekked up to Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J., for the World’s Toughest Mudder, an event pitting the best of the best. Spanning 24 hours on the weekend of Dec. 17-18, that epic test of stamina and will brought together participants who had recorded top-five-percent times at previous courses.
