Tokay Tigers trump Stagg Delta Queens in varsity girls basketball

It’s not something heard often after a 15-point triumph, but Tokay Tigers varsity girls basketball coach Jennifer Bauer was adamant on Thursday evening: “(That) wasn’t our best game.”

Make no mistake — the Tigers’ 43-28 win over Stagg was never in doubt. Fourteen-point performances at The Jungle from both Kylie Henne and Tori Schallberger sparked Tokay, which used an 18-4 second-quarter run to head into intermission up 29-13.
