Lodi Extreme suffers first loss at Babe Ruth 16-and-under World Series

The Lodi Extreme suffered their first loss in pool play, falling to Wausau, Wis., 10-5 on Monday at the Babe Ruth 16-and-under World Series in Lamar, Colo.

Katie Bentz led the Lodi offense with a double, single and an RBI. Jamee Martinez had two hits and drove in a run, Luci Martinez had two singles and Elizabeth Boron-Trotter and Nicole Albin each had a single. Janae Cook had an RBI on a ground out and she also scored a run.
