The 2012 season was supposed to be Galt High football's fresh start. Instead, that rebuilding effort hit a new, unprecedented roadblock.
For the first time in program history, the Warriors had to forfeit a game after injuries derailed their already slim roster. Galt's team dwindled down to just 13 players after last week's loss to Orestimba, forcing athletic director Alejo Padilla to cancel Friday's non-league tilt with Argonaut due to "major" safety concerns.
