When the Lodi High football team takes on San Joaquin Athletic Association rival Lincoln at Bear Creek High School in Stockton, the annual clash of red and white teams will be spotted with pink.

The Flames will be going pink in honor of October being Beast Cancer Awareness Month. The Lodi players will be wearing pink socks and pink ribbon decals on their helmets to help support awareness. The first 300 Lodi fans wearing Lodi football or Flame Fanatic gear will receive a free “Flames Go Pink” rally towel at the gate. There will be donation buckets at the gate and souvenir stand and all donations will be given to a local cancer charity.
