Brandon Michelucci's first shot of the year was one to forget: a 3-pointer from the left wing that flew wide, grazing backboard.

His last one on Wednesday night? Closer, more accurate and emphatic. In the waning minutes of the Lodi Flames’ 89-63 thumping of the Franklin Yellowjackets, the reigning league MVP slashed down the left baseline for a rim-rattling, right-handed dunk — taking off on the same left knee that had kept him off the court until Wednesday.
