The defensive effort was there, but the shots just weren’t falling for the Lodi Flames varsity girls basketball team. The Flames struggled to put the ball in the net in a 43-25 loss to Whitney on Tuesday in Rocklin.
Lodi shot 23 percent from the field and struggled at the line as well, hitting just 3-of-15 free-throw attempts. The Flames also turned the ball over 23 times.
