Lodi, Tokay athletes put stamps on sensational seasons

No new trips to Clovis, but plenty of accomplishments. Eight local track and field athletes competed at Friday’s Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Championships in Elk Grove, and though a trip to state was not in the cards, they all left with high notes to build — or end — on.

Lodi High School’s Colin Anderson finished up his decorated career by recording a personal best of 14 feet, 4 inches in the pole vault. Anderson had been of the team’s most versatile athletes, having qualified in four different events for divisionals and three during Masters.
