Tokay High’s Taitum Herrington and Lodi High’s Nic Carniglia are headed in the right direction for an Olympic water polo future.

The two Lodi Water Polo Foundation players have been selected as two of the top 70 11th-grade-and-under players in the country and earned places in the USA Water Polo Olympic Development Program. For the next three months, Herrington and Carniglia will be commuting to the Bay Area to train with the top players in the area in preparation for the USA Water Polo National Training Selection Camp May 27-30.
