Flames scorch Eagles to reach first section final

The winner takes home the Sac-Joaquin Section Division II crown.

This is Lodi’s first-ever trip to the section championship game. The Flames made it to the semi-finals in 2002.
This is Antelope’s second straight trip to the section championship game. The Titans lost to St. Mary’s 61-50 in last year’s title game.
Admission is $8 for students and $17 for adults; parking is $12 for autos and $30 for RVs and buses.

The Lodi Flames’ path to this afternoon’s Division II title game has been filled with two things: Piles of points, and the shattered dreams of top programs.
The second-seeded Sacramento Dragons saw their postseason end abruptly at home last Friday. The third-seeded McNair Eagles fell in the section semifinals on Wednesday at Power Balance Pavilion.
