The Lodi Flames varsity girls basketball team looked to be on its way to a victory against the visiting Franklin Yellowjackets on Tuesday in The Inferno at Lodi High School.
The Flames had a 25-7 lead with 4:02 left in the second quarter and appeared to have the game in control. But turnovers, lack of rebounding, and a resurgent Franklin offense ignited a 37-8 game-ending run as the Yellowjackets prevailed 44-33 and kept Lodi winless in league play.
