Elliot uses big third inning to defeat Chavez

The Elliot Eagles varsity baseball team broke a 4-4 tie with five runs in the top of the third inning en route to a 12-5 win over the Chavez Titans at Chavez High School in Stockton on Wednesday.

Austin Vickers went 3-for-5 with a triple to lead Elliot’s 14-hit attack. He also had six RBIs. Connor Landon had two RBIs for the Eagles (3-2) and JP Pardee was 3-for-4 with a double. Wyatt Lawton went 3-for-3, Caleb Lacelle was 2-for-3 with a double and Austin Landon added a double.
