Junior forward Ashlyn Jones matched a career-high 25 points and teammate Sopanha Mao converted six 3-pointers to lead the Bear Creek girls basketball team to a decisive home victory Tuesday night over Tokay in non-league action.

The Bruins won 65-44 as Jones dominated in the paint and Mao’s outside shooting spread the Tokay defense, recording 22 points. The duo combined for 47 points. The Tigers (1-5) were led by Darcie Castelanelli’s 12 points, but they committed 28 turnovers and shot 28 percent from the floor.
