Tokay High's 140-pounder Alex LeCocq went 3-1 on the opening day of the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Tournament at Stockton Arena on Friday, keeping his season alive.

With wins in his first two matches today, the senior will punch his ticket to the CIF State Tournament in Bakersfield next weekend. If LeCocq wins his first match, but drops his second, he could still rally back for a state-qualifying spot.
