Lodi Swim Club's Miranda Padilla dreams of making it to the Olympics one day. In the meantime, she's already making a name for herself locally.
The 12-year-old swimmer won five events in her 11-12 Girls Division during the Mel Enze Memorial meet, which took place at Tokay High from June 22-24. Competing in a long-course tournament, Padilla captured the 200m breaststroke (2:45.08), 100m butterfly (1:14.66), 100m freestyle (1:07.98), 200m butterfly (2:40.28) and 100m backstroke (1:19.52) titles.
