Katie Westerterp raced her way to three victories for the Lodi Flames, but Lodi came up just short after being swept in field events against the Bear Creek Bruins, losing 72-64 in San Joaquin Athletic Association action in Stockton on Wednesday.

Westerterp placed first in the 400 (1:02.22), 100 hurdles (16.89) and 300 hurdles (49.98). Sydney Olagaray won the 800 for the Flames in 2:59.18, Cassidy Daley raced to first in the 1,600 in 5:24.98 and Samantha Schmidt crossed the line first in the 3,200 in 13:48.20. The Flames also won the 4X400 relay.
