The third time out proved to be a charm for the Liberty Ranch Hawks varsity football team. On Monday, the Hawks were looking at a steep learning curve as they began a full contact camp over in Tracy. On Tuesday, the bumps and bruises were still slowing them down a bit.
But by the end of the seven-team camp on Wednesday, Liberty Ranch did nothing but impress first-year coach Darin Higgins on both sides of the ball.
