Edison 43, Tokay 35 Girls basketball: Late charge not enough to lift Tigers over Vikings

The Tokay Tigers varsity girls basketball team put up a good fight, but the Edison Vikings' merciless defense and 3-point threat proved to be too much, leading to a 43-35 season-ending loss at Taggart Gym in Stockton on Thursday.

"The kids worked really hard. A few different things go different ways, we make a couple free throws, one less turnover, it's a different game," Tokay head coach Jennifer Bauer said.
