The Tokay Tigers varsity softball team always hung with the best, even if completing the task proved elusive. The Tigers showed their considerable potential throughout the league season — climbing to leads against West twice and St. Mary’s once — but also showed the youth of a team that included five freshmen.
“When you’re ahead of those teams, you belong there,” Tokay coach Robert Harmon said. “Experience will hopefully help that out next year. We’ll finish off those games stronger with another year of experience.”
