Lodi teen Madeline Woznick forges ahead in pursuit to honor coaches

Last year, Madeline Woznick came up with an idea far beyond the scope of most seventh-graders.

While many her age were concerned with school work, sports, or what to do the next weekend, Woznick was plotting a political plan that reached as high as President Barack Obama. So touched by the influence of swim coaches throughout her youth, Woznick decided that there needed to be a national holiday for all coaches.
