The Tokay High School girls water polo team will head back to their home pool, but the Tigers’ postseason is far from over. Tokay advanced in the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs with Friday’s 19-6 drubbing of Turlock, earning the right to face Davis High School on Wednesday at 8 a.m.

Taitum Herrington led the way with a game-high seven goals, followed by Sydney Iturraran with five. Allison Naasz recorded a hat trick, Brittany Cunningham struck twice, and Claudia McFarland and Priscilla Gutierrez each scored once.
