Lincoln High freshman forward Nyre Harris scored 26 points and grabbed 22 rebounds as the Trojans used a 22-3 fourth-quarter rally to top visiting Lodi, 64-49, on Thursday night in a key battle for first place.

Harris scored 10 points in the final eight minutes as Lincoln overcame a four-point deficit (46-42) entering the final stanza. Harris went down awkwardly late in the game while fighting for a rebound and suffered a left leg injury. She was helped from the court in obvious pain and her status was not immediately known.

"their press forced us into more turnovers and they took advantage of it."What a surprise. The LHS girls fall to a team who presses the entire game. This sounds like what has happened each of the past years in the playoffs. The coach needs to switch some things up and teach the ENTIRE team how to break a press or it will be the same year after year: 1 (game in the playoffs) and done for LHS.
