The University of the Pacific baseball team will be holding its annual community night fundraiser on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 5 p.m., at the Stockton Country Club. The event includes a meet-and-great with the 2013 Tigers, a sports equipment raffle, kids activities, autographs and more.

David Cooper, a Tokay High graduate and Toronto Blue Jays first baseman, will be honored as the San Joaquin Professional Athlete of the Year. Pacific sophomore Eric Lockwood will be recognized as the Amateur Athlete of the Year. The event’s keynote speakers are Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper, the broadcast duo for the World Series champion San Francisco Giants.
