It took longer than it was supposed to and was harder than expected, but Pacific was overcome with relief when the victory over Cal State Bakersfield finally came.

It took the Tigers overtime to beat the Roadrunners on Wednesday night and it could have been worse. Bakersfield actually led in the extra session with two minutes remaining, but Joe Ford wouldn't let Pacific lose. He hit clutch free throws, grabbed an important rebound and created a scoring chance for Anthony Brown that essentially iced the game with 30 seconds remaining.
