Up-and-coming Lodi driver Robbie Knittel is off to a hot start this season as a rookie in the Stockton 99 Speedway Super Stock Twin division as the second-generation driver pulled off two top-five finishes on Saturday.
In the Super Stock Twin No. 1 race, Knittel put up a good battle against early season point leader Jason Aguirre, of Atwater, and Stockton's Rich Harper, but was forced to settle for third behind Aguirre and Harper respectively.
