Alex Lew came up big at the dish and on the rubber, leading the Tokay Tigers varsity baseball team to its first win of the season, 6-0, over the Ponderosa Bruins on Friday at Billy Hebert Field in Stockton.

Lew had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits and driving in two runs. He doubled in the second and fourth innings. He was dominant on the mound, allowing just three hits in five scoreless innings while striking out five.
