Just when it looked like the Lodi's offense was on the right track, the Flames were derailed in their varsity girls basketball league opener.
Lodi, coming off 56- and 48-point performances in its last two preseason games — both victories — couldn't muster enough offense in a 34-31 loss to the Chavez Titans on Tuesday night in Stockton.

Didn't Tokay play St. Marys last night. Tokay is a school in Lodi right? And many of the St. Marys kids are from Lodi as well. But nothing about the game from the LNS. Typical.
