No slows starts this time. No adversity. This was all Tokay. A couple of weeks into the season, the Tokay Tigers varsity football team was still looking for a breakout game. They finally got one in their home opener, riding a bruising triple-option ground game and a dominant defense to trounce the Weston Ranch Cougars, 37-8, at the Grape Bowl.

The only drama was whether or not Tokay would post its second shutout of 2013, which the Cougars broke up in the final minute.
