CrossFit challenge makes its way to Lodi

What: A new fitness facility in Lodi owned and
operated by Lodi natives Jack Kautz and Michael Podesto, as well as
CrossFit instructor Sara McRoberts.
Where: 111 Stockton Street.
What is CrossFit? CrossFit is a fitness regimen
originally used by police academies and military special operations
units. It hits on all types of exercise from cardio, speed and
agility, to stamina, strength and flexibility.

Josh Sturman was never a workout buff or competitive athlete. He
played recreational softball and owned a dust-collecting gym
No one would know that if they saw Sturman hoisting kettlebell
weights over his head, doing push-ups with weights, jumping up and
then heaving them over his head and hauling them down Stockton
Street in Lodi.
