Courtney Robinson’s race Saturday was pretty good, just don’t tell that to her. With little experience before this year, the Liberty Ranch High School freshman finished 88th out of 207 runners at the CIF State Division IV Cross Country Championships. She came in at 20 minutes, 34 seconds at Woodward Park in Fresno and seventh out of the Sac-Joaquin Section’s 18 runners.

Lodi High School senior Phillip Kruse was 117th out of 184 in the boys Division II race with a time of 16:45.
