Tokay High boys water polo coach Shane Mahoney knows how to win
section championships. And all season long, Mahoney has been
teaching his team what it takes to do just that. Cole Mahoney had
three goals and Danny Kemether added two as Tokay upset Lodi, 7-5,
in the quarterfinals of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I playoffs
at its home pool on Tuesday.
Now the Tigers are in the section semifinals, where they will
play Davis at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Tokay pool.
