“Winning to us is to be better today than we were yesterday. Both on and off the field, I truly believe these guys have been striving for that over the last two seasons and you will see that hard work pay off this year with more scoreboard wins.”

Galt Warriors head football coach J.J. Woodward hopes his third season at the helm of the Warriors will be a breakthrough year. Woodward returns a senior-dominated team that has suffered through two brutal seasons since he took over in 2012. Galt was 0-10 in Woodward’s first year but managed to win a game last season when the Warriors finished 1-9.

Despite that victory, 48-28, against Kennedy in non-league action, Galt was outscored 40-481 in its other nine games and surrendered 60-plus points five times, including a 71-0 loss to Division I Tokay.
