Kashif Afzal had the size advantage against the Elliot Eagles on Friday and would not be denied. The Tokay Tigers’ 6-foot-3 center made the decisive layup that put the Eagles away 50-47 in varsity boys basketball action in The Jungle at Tokay High School.

He got the ball under the basket with just over a minute left and was immediately swarmed by defenders. He missed, got his own rebound, missed again, and then fought for one final rebound before powering through contact for a basket plus the foul.
