Jannell Hadnot’s junior year was superb. Her final season at Tokay High School is, improbably, surpassing it.

The Tigers track star set a new career best in the triple jump on Saturday, with a leap of 40 feet, 1 inch during Tokay’s varsity sweep at Stagg’s Delta King Invite. That jump, which broke her own school record of 39-8.25, is the top girl’s high school mark in the nation.
