Winning two straight league contests is erasing memories of a slow start this season for the Lodi Flames football squad.

Lodi running back Josh Mastro rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns and a ball-hawking Flames defense forced seven turnovers in a 49-0 win over Franklin on Friday night at Tom Verner Field.

Yes, thanks for including those who don't always get to play! It's fun for us as parents and the kids to see their names in print!

Thank you Mrs. Edsell. I always try to take into consideration what our readers would like to see, time and space permitting, and the game ended early enough that I was able to do so.

I will have to email Coach Bishop for your email contact information for a story we are doing on Cody Edsell next week.
