The Tokay Tigers varsity boys basketball team fought valiantly against visiting West, but couldn’t gain enough steam against the Wolfpack’s high-octane offense, falling 66-59 Friday night at The Jungle.
Tokay trailed West 60-57 with 2:47 left in the fourth quarter, and had several opportunities to win the game, but missed key shots. The Tigers (8-11, 0-2 Tri-City Athletic League) hit just one of their final five shots, while the Wolfpack (14-5, 1-1) knocked down six free throws.
