The Tokay Tigers and Edison Vikings met on Friday in a matchup between two playoff bound varsity football teams with something to prove. The result was a thrilling game filled with plenty of big plays. Tokay won, but the Tigers and Vikings each believed they are better prepared for what comes next.

The Tigers shook off four turnovers and used two touchdown passes by quarterback Kelse DePauli-Wiltse in the second half to edge the Vikings 28-27 at Edison High School’s Charles Magnasco Stadium in Stockton. Tokay finishes the regular season 8-2 overall and 3-2 in the Tri-City Athletic League.
