Mission: Find Santa
One clear starry Christmas Eve a family of nine sit in a house bubbling with the smell of Christmas Eve dinner. As the family sits around the table talking and eating one little girl Sara sits deeply in thought.
Sara was remembering all the good and bad things she had done this year. Sara began to wonder, " Would he still come? Have I been good enough?"
As she asked herself these questions she began to feel sad. Sara went through the rest of the evening hurt on the inside but she tried as hard as she could not to show it on the outside.
Finally it was time to go to bed and as Sara climbed into her bed and under her cozy covers she prayed for Santa to come. Then much to her surprise she fell fast asleep. Immediately after falling asleep Sara walked right into a dream.
In Sara's dream she was on a mission to find Santa. She was dressed in all red clothes and sliding down poles like in the fire department to catch the polar express all the way to the North Pole. As she sat on the bus she wondered what it would be like when she got there. She imagined a big factory with lots of elves and toys and candy canes. The factory would be painted red with a green roof and a blanket of snow gently covering the ground and...
BEEP BEEP first stop North Pole. Sara got off the polar express eager to see what the North Pole was like. As she stepped off the express she looked around in amazement it was nothing like she imagined it. Much to her surprise, the North Pole was like a little town, they had Candyway (A.K.A. Safeway), Snowbucks (A.K.A. Starbucks), Elvyns (A.K.A. Mervyns), and Toyget (A.K.A. Target). All the buildings were painted red and green with lights and decorations. Sara looked up and saw a mountain with what looked like a castle on it. She knew that's where she needed to go.
Sara quickly got on the Heart (A.K.A. BART) to the castle on the mountain hurry. The driver said OK and off they went. Finally they arrived, Sara jumped out and ran to the door. When she knocked, an elf answered she asked him to see Santa, the elf willingly showed her the way. Then finally there she was the door creaked open and...
"Merry Christmas sweetie," said Sara's mom. Sara woke up and realized it was all a dream. As she began to walk out to the living room she prepared herself for the worst. As soon as in sight she realized Santa had come and had left her so many presents.
