Sending Christmas love half-way ’round the world

The best Christmas, I think, would probably be when all of Lodi comes together and celebrates Christmas. In other words, no one would be alone for Christmas, and no one would be outside in the cold because they had nowhere to go.

Everyone would have at least one gift. And, people could send gifts to other cities that celebrate Christmas but don’t get a chance to give gifts or be with their family because they are in jail or in the hospital. There are a lot of people in the world that can’t celebrate Christmas because of physical or financial problems.

This year I am buying things and putting them in a shoe box and sending them to a place where children don’t get to receive presents, and the box will be given to a child so that child can have a gift. This operation is call “Operation Christmas Child.” These people know the true meaning of Christmas and maybe all of the world should, too. We have to do it slowly and maybe someday all of the world will have a family to share with and love.
