On behalf of the Lodi City Council and the community, I am happy to welcome you to our city.
Founded 100 years ago, Lodi has progressed from a sleepy river crossing to a vibrant community that respects its past but continues to grow in a reasonable and responsible manner.

We greatly value our agricultural base. With over 70,000 acres in production, Lodi is proud of its position as the largest grape growing region in the state.
Not only do we grow more winegrapes, but we grow some of the very best. This area is renowned for the quality of its zinfandel vines.
It should come as no surprise that we also bottle some of the very best wines. With dozens of tasting rooms in the surrounding area, visitors can enjoy award-winning wines frequently poured by the person who is also the grower and winemaker.
During your visit, we hope you will take time to enjoy our revitalized downtown, which features unique shops and interesting dining opportunities.
Hutchins Street Square offers a magnificent venue for the performing arts as well as a spacious rooms for your meeting and conference needs.
Lodi Lake and its nature area provide an opportunity to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the Mokelumne River.
As opposed to many communities which seem to believe "bigger is better," Lodi has intentionally remained "small."
We value what we have and have chosen a growth formula which will ensure the quality of life we have come to appreciate. We welcome inquiries from businesses and industries looking to locate into a community with a unique lifestyle.
You will find that Lodi is a community that gets involved. Whether it is through churches, youth activities or city boards and commissions, Lodians invest in their community. This investment and our collective diversity enables us to create what we feel is an ideal place to live, work and raise a family.
If you are here for a visit, we encourage you to contact the Visitors and Convention Bureau, the Lodi District Chamber of Commerce or the Lodi-Woodbridge Winegrape Commission for additional information about Lodi. We hope you enjoy your visit and encourage you to hurry back.
If you are considering relocation, please forget that old song, "Stuck in Lodi Again." We would rather welcome you to "livable, lovable" Lodi.
Thanks for coming!
Bob Johnson, Mayor
City of Lodi
