As president of the Grape Festival Board of Directors, it is my pleasure to welcome you to this year's festival.

The Lodi Grape Festival has a long-standing tradition of providing superb, affordable, family oriented fun, and this year's event is no exception.

Please take time to explore all the great attractions and shows that make us special. Come out and enjoy the Festival Variety Show on Thursday, Bryan O'Neal and the Bus Boys on Friday, Foghat on Saturday and Rose Royce on Sunday, as well as the magicians, juggler, ventriloquist, hypnotist and bands providing non-stop entertainment all four days on our five stages. Bring the kids to Kidzone and let them play, and take in the fascinating Brad's World Reptiles and astonishing Wild World of Tigers shows.

As always, we celebrate the harvest in the Ole Mettler Grape Pavilion with the world-famous grape murals, beautiful grape displays and the ever-popular commodity murals constructed by the youths of our community. Our art and photo competition is one of the best ever, and don't miss the Lodi-Woodbridge Rose Society Show on Saturday and Sunday.

Thank you for attending the festival - I hope to see you there.

Sincerely,

George Barber

President

Festival Board of Directors

Poll

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
